You’d like to know “How to achieve financial freedom”, right?
Well, like Kelly Reese wrote about in a Financial Freedom Report… you really already KNOW how to be financially free… the problem as he pointed out is that perhaps you don’t know “Why to”.
Stuart Wilde wrote, “What you put out is what you get back and the reason so many are so short of money is because they put little or nothing out… Let us look at the quality of energy you are putting out so that when your energy mixes with that of the marketplace of life, you will only need small amounts of what you are to generate large amounts in return.”
As I’ve learned from my abundance coach, Teresa Romain, what I focus on the most tends to show up more in my life – some have called it the Law of Attraction. And what I’ve been mostly focusing on is “doing” things in order to be financially free… the “how to” stuff that Kelly writes about.
Well, for most of us the “doing” of the “how to” stuff seems allot like work, and if you’re anything like myself, that doesn’t exactly get me excited.
The more I “do” and the harder I “do” it… guess what shows up more in my life?
You got it… more stuff to “do”.
As I’ve learned from Teresa, that is the “Do – Have – Be” model that most of us have accepted as normal. You know… I have to “do” certain things in order to “have” what I want and to “be” what I desire.
Further, “doing” is really starting from a place of scarcity, assuming that we have to “do” something in order to “have” more of what we don’t have.
Now, if I focus on scarcity (doing), guess what shows up more in my life?
You got it again… more scarcity.
Teresa suggests a different paradigm – only this time starting from a place of abundance. The new model is:
BE – HAVE – DO.
I already have right now – today – more abundance than most can imagine. We live in the most prosperous and wealthy country in the world. How can most Americans say they don’t have enough? Rather than focusing on not enough and “doing” more to get more, I’m learning to be more grateful every day for what I do have – right now. In other words, “BEing” abundant.
Wanna take a guess of what is showing up more in my life?
You got it… more abundance.
As I’ve celebrated and focused more on the natural abundance I have now, I’ve been experiencing having more abundance show up, and as a result have been free to “do” more of the things I want and enjoy.
As the Apostle Paul wrote, Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” (Philippians 4:4-9)
Now that’s abundant!
